Enter the Void

Poster shows the Tokyo Love Hotel "Enter the Void" - a double-entendre describing both the sexual purpose of the building and the theme of the movie itself.
The hyper-stylised fluoro colours were part of director Gaspar Noe's attempt at replicating the visuals he experienced while under the influence of the drug DMT. An experience which he likened to the 49 days a soul spends inbetween death and reincarnation, according to the Tibetan Book of the Dead.
Production design and effects were supervised by Marc Caro (City of Lost Children, Delicatessen)
